Handmade Charm Wrap Bracelets With A Message

Being mindful is one of the most powerful ways to improve your life. The more you think positive thoughts, remember things that have a positive influence on your life, and choose to follow the good things in life, the better your life will be! One of the most effective ways to keep the power of positive thought alive and well in your life is to wear symbolic jewelry that has a message. The handmade charm wrap bracelets I create each have a special message that keeps your spirits high and keeps the good energy coming in to your life!

Throughout time, people have relied on the symbolism and meaning in charm wrap bracelets to inspire, uplift, and empower. Just about every culture on the planet uses symbols and charms in one way or another, and in the modern world are are fortunate enough to have access to a world full of empowering sacred symbols.

Just a few of the most powerful charms I work with in the wrap bracelets I create include:
  • Om - the ancient Hindu symbol that represents the 'All That Is'
  • Peace - a modern symbol that reminds us to 'be the change we want to see in the world'
  • Tree Of Life - a symbol used in many cultures that reminds us we are all connected, and are all part of the same living earth
  • Buddha - a reminder to make sure that compassion, mindfulness, and serenity are part of our everyday lives
  • Spiral - an ancient symbol that resonates with the shape of our galaxy, and that creates the way that thoughts unfold to become things
  • Hamsa Hand / Hand Of Fatima - confers blessings of protection, peace, healing, and abundance
I also work with the power of colors, gemstones, and other symbols when I create my handmade charm wrap bracelets to ensure that each piece brings beauty and inspiration to every moment in your life. I like to think of these bracelets as a type of wearable meditation because they help add to the magic and beauty of our lives while at the same time keeping our minds focused on the positive path.

If you haven't taken time to browse the most popular charm wrap bracelets in my store, or the newest additions, now is a great time to see them for yourself! No matter what kind of message you want to bring into your life, I've got a wrap bracelet that will surround you with its good energy.

The Popularity of Wrap Bracelets

One of the hottest items on Etsy, and one of the fastest growing trends in handmade jewelry, is wrap bracelets. Combining the beauty of textiles with the power of symbolic charms, bracelet wraps make a statement for any style and work with any outfit you can come up with. I think wraps are so popular because they combine the unique look of handmade fiber arts with the shine of metal charms, and that’s a pair that can’t be beat!

I have been creating my wrap bracelets with the intention of merging two very different - but very complimentary design styles together. I think the combination of fiber arts and silk fabrics with smooth metal creates a look that simply cannot be ignored, and the addition of positive meanings and sacred symbolism makes my wraps all the more attractive.

Etsy, a leading provider of handmade jewelry, is booming with wrap bracelets thanks to the sheer number of celebrities who have chosen them as the perfect fashion statement. I have taken the work you can find on Etsy and other crafters’ website one step further by increasing the quality of products I use . The silk, satin, and Japanese chrimen fabrics I use are of top quality to ensure that they feel as good as they look. I also go above and beyond to work with charm designers that offer quality charms with a meaning that will add something special to your look and to your state of mind.

If you’re excited about adding wrap bracelets to the unique statement you make every single day, I cannot wait to introduce you to my complete line of handmade jewelry with meaning. Every piece is made by hand using the best materials, and each wrap is made with love and intention!

Amethyst and Addiction

Amethyst is my birthstone and I have always thought of it as a love talisman, but I recently discovered a completely different myth associated with the beautiful purple stone.

Apparently, amethyst  is connected to the deities Bacchus and Dionysus (gods of wine and libation). It is believed to help overcome alcoholism and other addictions.

The name of amethyst comes from the Greek word “amethostos” meaning “not drunken”. According to Greek myth a nymph named Amethyst rejected the wine god Dionysus. To protect her, the goddess Artemis turned her into a quartz. Feeling remorse, Dionysus pourend a cup of wine on the quartz turning it into purple amethyst.

The Romans have a different myth. The wine-growing god Bacchus became angry with people who were disrespectful and vowed that the first person he saw would be killed. The nymph Amethyst came across him first, on her way to the goddess Diana’s temple. Diana rescued her by turning her into a quartz crystal. Feeling bad, Bacchus started to pour wine over her, claiming that ‘wine revives anything.’ But, he was wrong and the stone only turned purple. Thus, the belief that amethyst preserves the wearer from hard drinking.

Japanese Chirimen Fabric

I have recently fallen in love with Japanese chirimen fabrics and have created several bracelets using different patterns.

Japanese chirimen cloth is known for kimonos, but is now used in all sorts of clothing and crafts. It is a crepe cloth that is  made of silk or rayon and is created in beautiful, colorful  nature-inspired patterns.

Chirimen is a traditional weaving technique that was developed in the late sixteenth century in Japan. The cloth or silk fabric that is made from this technique is also called "chirimen." The cloth has the unique feature of soft wrinkles which are created by alternating two types of silk thread, twisted in different directions and then washed  and rubbed in hot water.

The Road to the MTV Movie Awards

In June, our bracelets will be included in the GBK Productions Luxury Gift Lounge for the MTV Movie Awards!

Now, by the beginning of May, I have to find the time to create 100 extra bracelets. The good news is that the design has been decided upon, what do you think?

This silk wrap bracelet features a double-sided charm. One side says ‘believe’ and the other side says ’inspire.’ Hanging with the round charm will be three Swarovski crystals, in amethyst, purple, and dark blue…..That’s 300 crystals! Each ribbon is hand dyed in a gorgeous mix of purples, blues, and browns.

The supplies have all been ordered and now I have to work on the packaging.  I am thinking of using metal tins with a charmed design logo sticker on top. …Any great ideas out there, I’m open to suggestions?!

Check out this bracelet on my website HERE.
