Google Analytics - What Are Your Peak Hours?

Do you know your peak hours? I didn't and I may be the only person NOT to know this, but I just learned how to find out what my peak hours are. Just in case I am not alone, I am sharing this golden nugget of information.

Access Google Analytics. On your Dashboard, on the top left,  go to Visitors ->Visitor Trending->Visits. Now look at the top right above the graph and below the dates. See a clock icon? Click and there you go - how many visits you have at every hour for whatever dates you have set. This is good stuff!

For the last month, 1:00PM has by far the most visits in my shop. My visits are fairly stable between 6:00AM-8:00PM besides that spike What is your best hour?

I would love to hear what your peak hours are, will you come back and report?

I'm trying to do this, but I'm not seeing any of those. I definitely see the "visits" link in the graph, but that's it. No clock or "visitors" or "visitor trending." Is it all off the main page?

scracklep, look on your top left on the main page, which is your 'dashboard.'Under the word 'dashboard' you will see several categories. The second from the top is 'visitors'

Mine are consistantly in the morning, but sometimes I get a burst around 5 o'clock when work lets out.

Interesting! Mine's fairly consistent between 6pm and 9pm, ranging from 24 and 33 visitors.

Mine are allll over the place. My top time (by a really narrow margin) is 8 PM, closely followed by 6 PM, 2 PM and 9 AM.

I have a bit of trouble with this! I usually get high volume of visitors in the evenings/early night time, but that's also the time that I can post. So, I don't know if it's a popular time - or if people just visit b/c I just posted.

OMGosh! I've never been to Analytics before! I just went and all my info is blank. I guess I have to set it up or something?

Sometimes I check Feedburner stats, but I honestly don't even know what I'm looking at! I just like seeing the numbers go up! LOL!

Hopefully I'll be able to learn some from you!
I'm now following you through the Boost My Blog Friday Blog Hop! I hope you'll do the same! You can find me @ http://sofiasideas.com/

This is fascinating! I never explored that area of GA before. I have no peak, but a plateau between 11am and 6pm. Do you know what time zone GA is reporting in? Thanks for this great info!

I noticed mine is around 1:00pm and 10:00pm.
I think it is because at 1:00 is working womans lunch hour (or the kiddies are taking a nap).
10:00pm is after the family has gone to bed for the night and they finally get time to themselves~
